start at maple syrup season 

          maple syrup, roots, shoots, buds, barks, fish, road kill; potentially stored foods for previous year: venison, nuts, acorns

          personal funds required so that wild food harvesting, preparation, and storage can be priority



gray area

          exceptions to pure wild food diet:  
          wild rice to be purchased, wild fish to be purchased as necessary as backup / supplementation, old abandoned apple trees
          to be considered as wild food, preserved foods from previous years, seaweed to be purchased in order to be available  
          whole year even though seaweed harvest to be part of project
          potentially use wild herbs from other areas for supplementation or study


learning

          finished book / video will be educational in nature
          people who wish to learn about wild foods can assist me with harvest, preparation, and preservation of foods
        blog entries


foods

          seeds, wild vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, animals, fish, insects 
          winter will be mostly hunting, fishing, and living off of stored foods
          hundreds of various 


long term project

          possible postponement if major food shortage, such as a bad mushroom or acorn year (having main staple foods available in abundance in a single year is ideal)
          some traveling could be part of the project
